About Us

Ice Sports are growing in popularity in Melbourne, Australia's sporting capital.

Ice Sports Victoria is the peak organisation that brings together the state sporting associations for Ice Hockey, Curling, Figure Skating and Speed Skating.  Its purpose is to assist the growth of these sports in Victoria, by providing funding, coordination, and development assistance to the clubs and associations.

Committed to providing more opportunities for all Victorian to get active on ice, Ice Sports Victoria runs developmental programs at both the Olympic Ice Skating Centre, Oakleigh South and the O'Brien Group Arena, Docklands.

The O'Brien Group Arena in the Docklands - the National Ice Sports Centre - provides a World Class facility in which to enjoy all that Ice Sports have to offer. It has 2 full-size competition ice rinks in an architecturally designed building to complement the excellent sporting facilities in Melbourne city. It is home to the Olympic Winter Institute of Australia.
