Ice Hockey 

Ice Hockey.  All action.  It’s the fastest game on earth. Think Aussie Rules on jets, Rugby League in fast-forward. It is skilful, fun and exhausting!  Ice hockey is a fast paced team sport played on ice in which skaters use sticks to shoot a hard rubber hockey puck into their opponent's net to score points.

Ice hockey is one of the fastest growing women's sports in the world, with the number of participants increasing 350 percent in the last 10 years.

Each team has up to 20 players, with 5 players and a goalie on the ice at any one time.  They pass a puck across the ice and shoot for goals.

Ice Hockey Victoria welcomes new players of all ages with a variety of competitive and recreational leagues for boys, girls, men and women. Beginners can start with lessons in skating, puck-handling and sportsmanship.
